People who meet me as either an artist or an engineer look at me sideways and ask, “how can you be both of these things?” For me, it’s natural, as I am a balanced left/right brain thinker. Making art or solving a business problem are much the same process- It starts with just one mark, a reaction with a second mark, and the lens is brought into focus to the clear end result. It’s just how I approach everything I do.
I’ve been painting and sculpting nearly my entire life. My formal studies are from Carnegie Institute, Carnegie-Mellon University, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. My personal aesthetic and plastic vocabulary come from my own studies of metaphysics, ancient civilizations, and human spirituality.
